In addition to FGHFS and NFS Scratch filesystems in the HPC environment ITS Research Services currently offers 2 types of HPC-connected storage. Dedicated and Shared. Details about purchase/use may be found here:

The Large Scale Storage Service (LSS) provides space for research data that is available within the Argon HPC environment.
Dedicated storage is visible within the HPC environment by going navigating to /Dedicated/<sharename>.
Shared storage is visible within the HPC environment by going navigating to /Shared/<sharename>.
Both types of storage have the option of external visibility, preferably via NFS (Unix/Mac clients), but, CIFS(Windows/Mac clients) can be provided.
Access to the storage shares is done via group membership. Investors may request access to their group, typically "Research-<group>" by contacting ITS-RS. Membership to the group is not limited to compute queue members, as there may be instances where collaboration between groups with storage purchases is desired.
Additionally there is scratch space for short term job data.
