  • IDAS has been moved to a new data center networking, which is expected to provide better performance.

  • The IDAS infrastructure nodes have been updated to new operating systems, enhancing overall reliability and performance.

  • Databases have been relocated to dedicated hosts, resulting in performance improvements.

  • When users start IDAS sessions, updates for IDAS images are no longer checked for, which should improve reliability.

  • Added 16 GPUs to IDAS. These are NVIDIA L40S, each with 48GB GPU memory.

  • Added 2 new-generation compute nodes with faster CPU. Each node has 128 CPU threads and 1TB RAM.

  • We can now add new language version and instance type to IDAS without service downtime.
