IDAS Maintenance Schedule
This article describes the general maintenance schedule of the Interactive Data Analytics Service (IDAS) so that users can anticipate and plan for service downtime. Specific dates and times of each maintenance are announced to IDAS users via emails and on the ITS service page. (Select calendar view to view maintenances that are scheduled more than a week in advance.) Users will not be able to log in to IDAS during maintenance. Users should save all their work before each maintenance.
- IDAS undergoes maintenance a couple times a year in order for our team to make the necessary upgrades to IDAS. We try to schedule these maintenances outside of the Spring and Fall semesters. These maintenances might take more than one day in order for our team to complete the necessary tasks.
- Summer IDAS maintenance: usually in August
- Winter IDAS maintenance: usually in December
- In addition, since IDAS consumes other University services, those services also have maintenance that will affect IDAS. Please plan for service downtime (IDAS being unavailable) during these maintenances.
- Winter maintenance (multiple services, will impact IDAS): usually a date in January or February
- Spring maintenance (multiple services, will impact IDAS): usually a date in April or May
- Summer maintenance (multiple services, will impact IDAS): usually a date in August
- Fall maintenance (multiple services, will impact IDAS): usually a date in November
