• Career Placement & Classification rules on the employment affiliation for PhD Placements:
  • If Career Placement is PhD Initial or PhD Career, the classification will display the same value as the Classification on the business org account.
  • If Career Placement is PhD Temp, no classification will display, even if it is populated on the Classification field on the business org account.

• Research classifications are entered on the account level for the Business Organization in the Classification field.

  • Values:
    • USA R1 = Doctoral Universities - Very high research activity
    • USA R2 = Doctoral Universities - High research activity
    • DPU = Doctoral/Professional University
    • Foreign Industry
    • Foreign University
    • USA Government
    • USA Industry
    • Other
